"Fix Me Up"

The Omni Royal Orleans is on one of the most fashionable corners in the French Quarter and has a grassy area across the street, which is not that easy to find in the Quarter. It's also a short walk to Woldenberg Riverfront Park a good dog walking area. The Royal Street antique shops are directly outside the hotel. Nearby attractions include Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral, the French Market, and Cafe du Monde. The less expensive rooms are a little small but a good value starting at $149 (March 2008). The staff was not as pet or people friendly as some of the others but with it's superior location, it's Lana's pick best hotel in The French Quarter for pets.
