"Beautiful Parkside Location."

A wonderful location on a quiet street off Grande Allee and across from the beautiful flower encircled, Joan of Arc Garden in the Battlefields Park (Plaines d'Abraham) with sweeping lawns that span to the River and into the Old City. It's a beautiful 10 or so minute walk into the Old City via the Park. You can also walk by the impressive Parliament Buildings on Grande Allee. Lana actually prefers the quiet of this area after power touring in the Old City. The staff is incredibly pet friendly, but like at Le Chateau Frontenac dogs can't be left alone in their room. The Loews does offer a pet sitter at $15 (Canadian) and hour (3 hour minimum) who is fabulous. Also there are numerous dining establishments to the right of the hotel on Grande Allee with outdoor patio seating. From the outside, the Loews Le Concorde looks like an out of place skyscraper among charming late Victorian town houses and the interior could use a little update. But, if you can overlook that, it's a great pet place and not a bad value at $200 a night (Canadian).
