"Like a Stay with My Favorite Auntie"

Lana loves the laid back friendly feel of this Key West style inn. 5th Avenue is a busy street but once in the inn you feel set back from it. All the rooms in the inn are spacious two rooms suites. The three pet friendly suites have private entrances. The rooms were a were a bargain at $129 (Apr 2008) for the hotel room starved downtown area of St. Petersburg and there's no pet fee. It was not totally spotless or new but felt more like staying with my favorite great aunt, who didn't didn't worry about a crumb or bit of dust here or there but offered a warm comfortable, welcoming, roomy, relaxing visit. It's easy walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops and parks as well as the North Shore Dog Park. The inn keeper was very pet friendly and people friendly with a fun sense of humor.
