"Castle above the St. Lawrence"

Lana combined a visit to Charlevoix and the pet friendly Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu with her Quebec City visit. What an incredible trip. Don't bother with an excruciating flight to Europe for a summer vacation, do this trip instead. Le Manoir Richelieu is scenically perched high above the St. Lawrence at a point where it is so wide you can't see the land on the other side. This historic Fairmont hotel is incredible. The golf course views are equally incredible. It can't be adequately described, you just need to see the hotel and area for yourself. Lana doesn't particularly like the gambling part of the hotel but she just doesn't go there. A necessary evil from her standpoint to keep this incredibly beautiful property maintained. The hotel has a reasonably priced pet sitters, which makes non-pet activity easy.
