"Great Amenities Just Outside Village"

The Atlantic Oakes Resort is located just outside the village of Bar Harbor next to the Nova Scotia Ferry (The Cat) dock. It is not in walking distance of Bar Harbor shops but the pet friendly Island Explorer bus makes frequent stops at the Atlantic Oakes, and in a few short minutes you're in the center of Bar Harbor or a few more minutes and you're in Acadia Park. There is a beautiful historic inn called the Willows on the property but this does not have pet rooms. The pet rooms are in one of the 60's motor inn style buildings. The pet friendly rooms are clean and decorated in a Day's Inn style and quality. The resort is situated on twelve acres of lovely grounds, has 2 tennis courts, a beach and areas with excellent views of Maine's scenic coast.
